LEARN THE BASICS IN WORKING WITH PMC SILVER on these days and COST is $150. This includes 15gm SILVER CLAY, SUNDRIES & Tuition... Start at 10am



DOG or HORSE SCULPTURE, 

OVER 2 SUNDAYS


DAY ONE: Create an armature using wire, add foil to shape.

Using 2-part Air Dry clay, sculpt head and feet.


DAY TWO: Wrap the body with fabric strips dipped in fabric hardener, then cover with ARTSTONE sheets. Then Paint to add more colour.


Please bring an apron & wear old clothes

You will also need to bring lunch.

1st JUNE

Using Modelling Paste & Gel make a background on canvas, then add all your bits and pieces to create an underwater paradise. This will include anemone’s, seaweed etc. Add a fish if you wish, create your own using Apoxie Sculpt, stencil them if you prefer, then paint everything in colours of your choice.

With this project you can reuse or recycle plastic teaspoons, small artificial plants, Plastic tubing, 1cm beads, glass wishing stones/cabachons, bling and anything else you think would work for under the sea. If you have a canvas you would like to cover up with something new, then bring it along too! Approximate size 50 x 40 cm

POLYMER CLAY PEN & VESSEL


Learn how to make patterns in Polymer Clay, 

then use slices from the logs created to make a beautiful pen & vessel.

Using Apoxie Sculpt, Paverpol, Fabric, Polystrene and wire you will create a chook for your garden fence.

SILVER CLAY PENDANT or EAR RINGS

   99.9% silver 

Suitable for Beginners & Intermediate students

      Create a layered, textured pendant and/ or ear rings using 99.9% Silver Clay.

(15gm of clay supplied at current silver prices)

Roll, texture, then cut your shape.

Dry & refine with sandpaper

Fire on a gas stove top to burnoff clay to leave 99.9% silver.

Use Paverpol fabric hardener and T shirt fabric to create fins and detail.

Paverpol Artstone is used to create the scales

Apoxie Sculpt is used for all other detail.

Create an under-the-sea-theme canvas using Apoxie Sculpt, Glass eyes, Paverpol, Paversand, Polystyrene balls, decorative fibre & paper and any small beads, bead caps or bling you might like to bring along.

ECCENTRIC LADY, GARDEN STAKE


Create a Sculpture by using a 2-part Air dry Clay plus Paverpol hardened fabrics over a polystyrene and foil armature, on a garden stake.

Please bring an apron, foil and lunch.

         9.30AM TO 4.30PM OVER 2 DAYS.

This Course is an introduction to Paverpol & the various techniques 

used for making armatures.


You will make 3 different types of sculptures... 

1/ Seated lady with foil shaped face. 40cm

2/ Standing lady with press moulded clay face. 60cm

3/ Nomad with polystyrene face and shaped nose. 40cm

 You will learn;-

*Figure structure, 3 types of armatures. 

*Figure wrapping, using fabric strips & wrappers. 

*Figure draping and dressing. 

*Head dressing, turban, hair & cord wraps. 

*Finishing touches, dry brushing. 

* ARTSTONE crackle earth on Nomad base or Bodice of Standing lady

* Introduction to PAVERSAND, PAVERSCRUB, PAVERCOTTON and DECORATIVE FIBRE

* Hints, tips and ideas. 

* Colour mixing. 


All product and instructions are supplied. 


You will receive a USB plus instruction folder. 


An Accredited Workshop Instructors Certificate

 will be issued on completion of Course.

 Using a 2 part Apoxie sculpt suitable for outdoors, create 2 bush   chooks for your garden.

  Create patterned blends and logs in polymer clay and use slices from the logs to create a beautiful fish wall hanging.

Techniques include…

·         Create a foil armature

·   Mix Clay colours to create patterned blends and logs.

·         Decorate fish using moulds, foils 

and slices from coloured logs.

TRIBAL WOMEN


Create a Wire and foil armature for a standing lady 50cm tall.

 Sculpt a face, chest, shoulders (or use a mould for the face). 

Wrap the body with fabric strips dipped in a weatherproofing product, (Paverpol).

Dip fabric into Paverpol and drape around the the body.

ARTSTONE and APOXIE SCULPT added for detail

Dry brush colours for highlights.
